  Reservoir engineer and data science researcher

  Victor is a reservoir engineer and data science researcher with more than 10 years of combined experience in pressure transient analysis, reservoir simulation, well performance analysis and complex research datasets. He uses Python, SQL, applied mathematics and machine learning techniques to turn data into practical engineering insights. He earned his PhD from the Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, UK.

  His recent work includes physics-based AI models for subsurface flow, an AI-driven carbon-tracking platform and an application for identifying pressure transient flow regimes. He also contributes to AI evaluation and training projects, combining engineering judgement with analytical rigour and a focus on data quality, reproducibility and clear communication.
